Recently I was invited by the Head Teacher of Fairfields School, Mrs Lesley Felder, to visit the school in Northampton. I visited several times over the years and I used to visit dressed as Father Christmas!
On Friday 21st April I visited Piroto Labelling, a Northampton-based business in Moulton Park Industrial Estate which makes bespoke labels and tags for commercial businesses.
I hosted question and answer sessions with pupils at both Headlands School and at Thorplands Academy who had previously attended a seminar with the senior BBC journalist Laura Kuenssberg discussing how to interview political figures.
Recently I had one of my regular meetings with the Leader of West Northamptonshire Council (WNC), Councillor Jonathan Nunn, at the Council’s Angel Square offices in Northampton town centre.
I was pleased to recently visit a Northampton-based charity, Diversiti UK, which assists in expanding opportunities to those in our local community who are in greatest need.
I previously visited the organisation in 2018, and it was a pleasure to be invited to visit again.
I enjoyed my recent visit to Stimpson Avenue Academy, where I was greeted by the Head Teacher and Deputy Head Teacher of the school after which we discussed how the school has developed since my previous visit a few years ago.
