I was pleased to recently visit a Northampton-based charity, Diversiti UK, which assists in expanding opportunities to those in our local community who are in greatest need.
I previously visited the organisation in 2018, and it was a pleasure to be invited to visit again.
Diversiti UK was founded in 2014 and assists local people with employment opportunities, often those who have a disability or are in some way vulnerable, by building employability skills and liaising with local organisations and institutions to arrange opportunities.
The organisation also looks to promote inclusivity and acceptance of those of different age, race, ability, ethnic origin, gender, sexuality or faith. The charity provides a number of training sessions to a range of organisations including commercial organisations, local authorities and national charities.
I welcome the excellent work done by those at Diversiti UK, and the service they provide to the benefit of people in the community.
