To mark World Cancer Day 2024 I attended a Cancer Research UK event in Parliament reaffirming the importance of cancer care within the Government’s NHS strategy.
On Wednesday, 17th January I sponsored a cross-party event in Parliament entitled “100 days of captivity: What next for the Hamas hostages?“ to highlight the plight of the hostages still held by Hamas terrorists in Gaza.
From the 3rd - 7th of January, when Parliament was in recess, I visited Israel as a part of a Parliamentary delegation to the areas of the country that were attacked by Hamas on the Gaza-border.
On Friday 19th, January I hosted a question and answer session with students aged 16-18 at Northampton College. These students are studying a range of course including Law, Public Services and Criminology courses.
On Friday 19th January I again hosted a constituency advice surgery in Northampton at which constituents came to see me in person, to discuss their issues of concern and how I can best assist.
On Sunday, 17th December I was honoured to be asked to read a lesson at the annual Nine Lessons and Carols service at All Saints Church in Northampton.
