In my seven years as MP for Northampton North I have visited all of the schools in the constituency, many several times, and I always enjoy doing so. In many cases over the years I have arranged school visits to see the Houses of Parliament.
In the last fortnight I was invited back to meet the new Head Teacher at Cedar Road Primary School, and of course to meet some pupils and staff.
I have visited the school many times in the past, and as with previous occasions I was thoroughly impressed to see such dedicated and hard-working pupils and staff.
Getting education right for our children at an early age is absolutely crucial to their future development and our schools in Northampton North have my full support in the important work they do.
