There was a bit of a drama in the last fortnight which attracted some national media attention when a chunk of masonry from a 130 year old Parliamentary building fell from a great height onto my parked car – creating a sizeable hole in the windscreen.
As you can see from the photograph, it was extremely fortunate that no passers-by were injured, and the building has now been professionally assessed for other loose masonry.
The incident featured in the Daily Mail, The Sun and The Times.
Parliament will be voting in due course on the subject of the Restoration and Renewal of the Houses of Parliament.
