Recently I met staff at the newly-revamped Northampton branch of the mental health charity Northamptonshire Mind to discuss the provision of mental health services in Northampton.
This longstanding organisation works to provide mental health services to those in need and to de-stigmatise discussions regarding mental health. Mind does this through counselling services and by running workshops to improve mental health.
The branch I visited in Regent Square Northampton provides services to hundreds of people, and the charity across the whole of Northamptonshire serves thousands of people.
I visited Northamptonshire Mind some years ago, and I will continue to support their great work in improving mental health services throughout Northampton.
