I recently had one of my regular meetings with the Leader of West Northamptonshire Council, Councillor Jonathan Nunn, in the Council offices at Angel Square, Northampton to discuss local issues that have been relayed to me by my constituents in Northampton North.
In our meeting, which we usually hold every four months, we discussed the level of support given by the Government and the Council to local businesses, local housing issues as well as the prevalence of potholes and the means to deal with them.
I have found meetings such as this with Council leaders and local officials to be productive. I outline issues that have been relayed to me by my constituents and we discuss how these concerns can be addressed by local authorities.
I will continue to hold such meetings in the future to discuss issues of local significance to my constituents.
