Recently I met Captain Tim Stone MBA FCMI, an Officer at the Salvation Army in Northampton.
I have always been a great admirer of the work of the Salvation Army and have great respect for their work bringing communities together and helping the most vulnerable in society.
During my visit in Northampton town centre we discussed a wide variety of topics, both to do with the politics of the day and Tim’s very important work. He detailed to me, among other things, the role the Salvation Army played in assisting people in need. I was taken through how The Salvation Army centre had provided an initial refuge for those in need.
