In the last fortnight I was very pleased to visit Blackthorn Primary School who have been given a ‘Good’ grading this year by Ofsted. This a huge achievement for the staff and pupils of the school and a proud moment for all concerned. It is clear that the special measures, employed in 2014, and diligent work from staff has proven successful.
I enjoyed sharing this achievement with the students and staff on my visit, where the children sang a welcoming song and the Head and Deputy head showed me round the school.
The positive improvements and developments of schools is always delightful to see, and I regularly visit schools to talk to staff and students.
If you would like me to visit your school, please do get in contact.
