Starting on Tuesday, 15th May 2018 staff at the Weston Favell Shopping Centre along with other volunteers walked 100 miles over five days from London to Northampton for charity.
The ‘Grand Weston Wobble Part II’ will raise thousands of pounds for Thomas’s Fund, a wonderful charity which helps young people with life-limiting illnesses and disabilities through music therapy. I have visited this charity before and the work that they do is so important in helping the lives of the children they work with.
I commend all participants for going on such an impressive walk to raise money for a fantastic cause. I had the pleasure of meeting the participants at the Houses of Parliament to wish them luck for their long walk.
