I recently had the pleasure of attending an event in Parliament hosted by Marks & Spencer and The Prince’s Trust charity on promoting the provision of apprenticeships to young people.
Apprenticeships have been massively increased by this government and they are a great opportunity for young people to earn an income and gain in-demand, life-long skills in numerous high-paying industries. I will continue to support them both in Northampton and nationwide in order to provide everyone with the opportunity to succeed in life.
Indeed, regular readers of my newsletter will know that I recently visited Northampton College, who offer many great apprenticeship programmes. If apprenticeships in Northampton are something you wish to learn more about, you can find further information here: https://www.northamptonshire.gov.uk/councilservices/children-families-education/young-northants/work/Pages/apprenticeships.aspx
Over the years I have also supported the work of The Prince’s Trust, which helps out vulnerable young people get their lives back on track.
