Recently I spoke in the Chamber of the House of Commons during a debate regarding the taxation status of non-domicile residents.
During the debate I discussed the Treasury’s taxation policy towards non-domiciled individuals. The Government wishes to ensure people pay appropriate tax here in the UK on their income and gains brought into the UK. We have also cracked-down on non-compliance whilst ensuring that businesses and talented people are attracted to the UK.
