On Friday 30th June I was delighted to be invited to officially open the Sage Pharmacy at Christchurch Medical Centre on King Edward Road, replacing the previous Lloyd’s pharmacy.
During my visit to the Pharmacy I cut the ribbon opening the store, met the new owners and discussed the Government’s policies towards pharmacies as well as challenges facing those who run pharmacies.
One of the four managing partners Dipesh Odedra had the following to comment on my visit: “It was a really great afternoon and Michael was happy to see his constituents getting involved with a local business that has saved a pharmacy from completely shutting.”
I wish the new owners every success in providing these much-needed services to the local community.
