Regular readers of my news will be aware that I recently met the Northampton Litter Wombles in the Houses of Parliament to hear more about their work in the community.
On Friday 7th June I met some of the Wombles on a hot day in Northampton and joined them for an hour to litter-pick near Blackthorn Primary School. It was excellent to see so many dedicated volunteers give back to the community and help combat littering and fly-tipping.
I commend the Northampton Litter Wombles for their significant efforts in improving the quality of life for Northampton residents in organising litter-picks and helping to protect our natural environment. I look forward to further assisting them in the future in any way that I can.
If you would like to volunteer for the Litter Wombles or would like any further information on their work then you can contact them via the following Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/northantslitterwombles
