In the last couple of weeks I held a question-and-answer session with about 30 Sixth Form pupils at Northampton School for Girls, as I have done in many schools throughout Northampton during my near 13 years as Member of Parliament for Northampton North.
NSG has been ranked as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. I met Headmistress Cristina Taboada-Naya and I led a question and answer session with the inquisitive Sixth Form students on a variety of complex topics ranging from the challenges of being a Member of Parliament to the challenges that the country faces, with questions on my views with relation to the Government’s economic policy and foreign policy matters. I was impressed with the high-quality of questioning and critical thinking skills being displayed by the students.
I often visit secondary and primary schools in Northampton North. If you would like me to visit your school please do get in contact with me.
