On Friday 21st September, I attended the topping-out ceremony at the new Broadmead Centre on Broadmead Avenue.
I have long been a supporter of the Broadmead Baptist Church, which has undertaken some excellent community work in Northampton, and I was pleased to attend the ceremony for their new building on Broadmead Avenue in Northampton, having been part of the foundation stone ceremony some time ago!
The centre will provide a new home for the Church, a nursery and a money advice centre. To this end, the Broadmead Baptist Church has raised in excess of £2.7 million to build their new centre, and I was delighted to be present at its topping out. The impressive new building will be ready in a couple of months and I look forward to seeing it open to the public.
I am always happy to support all and every faith group in Northampton. This is a great example of a strong community project.
Northampton North residents of all faiths, and none, can be assured of my continued support.
