I recently visited Grön UK, a green lifestyle small business brand based in Northampton.
Grön specialise in high-quality, light weight carbon fibre frame electric bikes.
I enjoyed giving one of these impressive lightweight bikes a test ride on the streets of Northampton and had great fun riding up and down the road being propelled by the extra kick the electric battery provides!
A brand focused on living a green lifestyle, Grön have pledged to plant a tree in forests around the world for every bike sold.
Regular readers may remember my celebration of ‘Bike Week’ in 2019, which is still a great promotion of cycling in the UK.
Encouraging the growth of businesses in Northampton and nationwide is of great importance to me, and I will continue to support entrepreneurial endeavours like that of Grön in the future, to the benefit of our local economy. We need to ensure that Britain is the best possible environment to facilitate small business growth.
The Government is also keen to incentivise green modes of transportation, like the use of e-bikes, to ensure net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 and protect our natural environment for future generations.
