On Saturday, 24th June I attended the Armed Forces Day parade in Northampton’s town centre.
Armed Forces Day is a chance to show support for the men and women who make up HM Armed Forces community, from cadets to currently serving troops to veterans. The annual celebration takes place on the last Saturday of June and this year it fell on Saturday, 24th June.
I was impressed watching the parade and the military personnel marching in the town centre. Hundreds of people lined the route and it was a chance for everyone to show their appreciation for the hard work that Her Majesty’s Armed Forces do to keep our country safe. In my work in Parliament, I always do what I can to support them.
