On Saturday, 23rd September I was delighted to be invited to attend and speak again at the annual Caribbean Ball, hosted by ACES - a registered charity based in Northampton.
ACES – first established in 1993 – is a charity which aims to provide a range of preventative support services to older people, with a particular focus to those older residents of African and Caribbean heritage.
ACES offer services which help people with, amongst other things, social isolation, exclusion and services which help to promote independent, healthy and active lifestyles. Every year they host an annual ball to fundraise for their charity and I was very pleased to return again to the Park Inn Hotel in Northampton for the occasion and to show my support. There was good food and good entertainment on hand!
I am always keen to support organisations which contribute to our community here in Northampton.
